The win made sure that the Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds-owned side went into Christmas in third place level on points with Barrow and six points behind Stockport County who sit in first comfortably. Phil Parkinson's side are looking for their second consecutive promotion as they look to continue their fairytale story.

The side will next be in action on Boxing Day when they take on Swindon Town on December 26. Mullin is likely to be involved in the clash as he looks to regain his scoring form in front of goal.
