'How can you sell him?!' - Ole Gunnar Solskjaer blasts Man Utd's decision to get rid of Scott McTominay as midfielder closes in on Serie A title with Napoli
Former Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has blasted the club for selling Scott McTominay to Napoli last summer.
McTominay moved to Naples for the 2024-25 campaign in a £25 million ($33.6m) transfer, after years of fluctuating form and limited starts at Old Trafford. Since arriving in Italy, however, Antonio Conte has entrusted him with a defined position, which has brought out a new level in the 28-year-old. The midfielder has scored 11 league goals and provided four assists in 31 appearances, and is now on the verge of winning the Serie A title as Napoli enjoy a three-point lead at the top of the table over Inter.
