'Don't cry' - Neymar fires cheeky response after being labelled a 'cheat' by Al-Hilal team-mate

In a fun social media back-and-forth, the Al-Hilal superstar fired back at team-mate Ali Al-Bulaihi, who called Neymar a cheat on his Instagram story. Al-Bulaihi shared an image from the club's training and wrote in the caption: "Cheat goal offside and time is up". In reply, Neymar wrote: "Don't cry my friend. I'm very fast."

The Brazil star has been strongly linked with a move back to his homeland to re-join his boyhood club Santos. According to L'Equipe, negotiations between Santos and the Saudi giants are 'almost complete' over his transfer. The report also claimed that the 32-year-old and his father, Neymar da Silva Senior, would join an investment fund to acquire a stake in the iconic Brazilian team.

Neymar's move to Al-Hilal from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2023 has proved to be a disaster as he remained sidelined for most of his stay due to multiple injuries and has now been deemed surplus to their needs.

The former Barcelona star's current contract runs until the end of the 2024-25 campaign, however, Santos reportedly want to complete the deal in the January transfer window.
