Carvajal has been a major part of Real Madrid's successes over the last decade, with the Spanish right-back holding his spot in the first team since emerging in the 2013-14 season under Carlo Ancelotti. The Los Blancos captain has made 427 appearances throughout his career with the club and has won 27 trophies so far.
Speaking to the media, Carvajal said: "It's been a long journey. My sports career is already nearing the end. I hope not, but I have to be realistic."
