Egypt opened the scoring after just two minutes. Given his status as one of the best players in the world, scoring a penalty barely makes up for a dismal all-round performance.

THE BIG LOSER

Egypt will attempt to get their first win against Ghana on Thursday, which could prove to be another tough test for Salah and Co. Mozambique's next fixture comes against Cape Verde on Friday.
