Mikel Arteta offers Gabriel update after Arsenal hit with fresh injury scare as defender forced off in Champions League win

He could carry on, but we decided not to take any risks, really, because he’s played a lot of games. He comes from a long-term injury as well, and we need to look after him.”

Gabriel has not just been Arsenal's rock at the back alongside William Saliba, but has also been a crucial part of their set-piece-heavy tactics.
