    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Colombia, fresh off a runner-up finish at the 2024 Copa América, arrives in Texas as one of the most competitive teams in South America. The squad is led by global icon and Copa América Golden Boot winner James Rodríguez, along with Liverpool winger Luis Díaz and Fluminense standout Jhon Arias, who recently reached the semifinals of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.

As both national teams sit within FIFA’s top 20 rankings, the matchup promises to be one of the most exciting friendlies of the year and a serious test for Mexico on the road to 2026.

Tickets for the Mexico vs. Colombia match go on sale to the general public this Friday, July 11 at 10 a.m.
