The historic comeback started in the 114th minute when captain Bruno Fernandes pulled one back from the penalty spot. Kobbie Mainoo and Harry Maguire then scored back-to-back goals in the final minutes of the game to secure the victory. For the first time in the history of a major European competition, a club scored two goals in the 120th minute.
