On Sunday, Bayern Munich women completed a strong Frauen-Bundesliga season with a 3-0 win against SGS Essen, lifting their third straight league title. Key midfield player Georgia Stanway celebrated as the squad completed an unbeaten second half of the season, which included winning all 11 games, and gave departing head coach Alexander Straus a fitting send-off. As soon as the final whistle blew, the celebrations began. Club officials Herbert Hainer and Jan-Christian Dreesen were present to witness the significant occasion, with the game marking the end of an era and the beginning of a new chapter for Bayern’s women’s team.
