Liam Delap's ex confirms split as new Chelsea star settles into life at Stamford Bridge

Delap and Paul reportedly split up before the Club World Cup, after the striker completed his move to Chelsea from Ipswich Town earlier this summer. Now, she has confirmed the rumours on social media.

In a question and answer session on Instagram, Paul was asked if she was single, and replied: "Don't usually like talking about my personal life on here, I like to keep that private. But since I keep getting asked... yes I am single."

Leanna has previously posted a cryptic message on Instagram, writing: "You can't keep someone loyal by loving them harder." That appeared to reference the breakdown of her and Delap's relationship, and that has now been confirmed.

Delap could next be in action for Chelsea against Bayer Leverkusen on August 8.
