Kieran Trippier's wife Charlotte 'unfollows' England star on Instagram & posts mysterious 'get over the sh*t' message after seemingly ignoring Euro 2024 invite

Early this morning, sharp-eyed social media users noticed that Charlotte no longer followed Kieran's Instagram profile, while Kieran still followed her. This move sparked speculation that there was some trouble brewing between the couple.

While many of the squad’s partners have been seen supporting their significant others from the stands during the group stage games, Charlotte has notably been absent. Instead, she was spotted at The Hoppings, a popular fair in Newcastle, last Friday. She shared images on Instagram of her day out with the couple’s three children, further fueling speculation about the rift with her husband.

The cryptic message, in her Instagram story, read: "Sooner or later you get over the s*** you swore you'd never get over and it's the best feeling in the world."

In another separate story, Charlotte was seen sitting in her car, listening to music while waiting to pick up her children from school and the picture was accompanied by the caption "the sun is shining, happy Monday."

Two days ago, the wives and girlfriends of the England squad flew home from Germany after a brief visit to their partners at the Blankenhain base. The visit, intended to provide the players with a mental break and support, saw partners of various players, including Lewis Dunk’s girlfriend Abi Yaxley, Jordan Pickford’s wife Megan Davison, and Ollie Watkins’ partner Ellie Alderson, spending 24 hours at the camp. The England team are staying at a secluded luxury resort, designed to offer maximum privacy and a stress-free environment for the players.

Trippier has been used out of his natural position by Gareth Southgate in the absence of Luke Shaw in the first two matches of Euro 2024 and there has been a concern about his workload as the defender is managing a calf injury that disrupted the latter part of his 2023-24 season.
