'Jude Bellingham is fake' - Mallorca's Pablo Maffeo reignites Real Madrid crusade and takes aim at England star

Mallorca right-back Pablo Maffeo has expressed how much he dislikes Jude Bellingham in the wake of the recent two-match ban the Real Madrid midfielder received for dissent last weekend. The Spaniard remains embroiled in a war of words with Real Madrid and its players, with his recent comments about Bellingham marking the latest chapter.

Maffeo's problems with Vinicius Jr. have been well-documented, with the Mallorca right-back stating earlier this season that he would "knock Vini out in 10 seconds in a boxing match."

Bellingham came to the Brazilian's defence when Mallorca met Real Madrid in the Spanish Super Cup semi-final back in January. "10 seconds, eh? 10 seconds boxing no? You f*cking soft pr*ck", MARCA revealed after lip-reading analysis.

In a recent interview, Maffeo was asked to share his thoughts on Bellingham, who will serve a two-match ban in LaLiga. Maffeo criticised the Englishman's character and admitted that he liked Vini more than Bellingham.

“I like Vinicius more than Bellingham because he's like me, he's hot-headed and he comes straight at you," Maffeo said on La Zona 10 (h/t AS). "The other one comes from behind. It’s a bit like what happens to me in real life with people. Hey, you don’t like me? Fine, but you come at me from the front.

“If you act like a gentleman, if you say, ‘Oh, the kid is cold, I will give him my jacket,’ but then from behind you insult or mess with your teammates… Well, man, you are a fake. Come face-to-face, it is no problem. I do not like you either. You already know it, so do not pretend to be nice. So, if I have to choose one of the two, I'll choose Vinicius, because I know what he is like.”

The 21-year-old will not be seen in action for Real Madrid in this weekend's LaLiga clash against Girona. Additionally, he received a yellow card against Manchester City on Wednesday night, meaning that he will miss the first leg of the Round of 16 in the Champions League.
