    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Kusi-Asare joined Bayern from AIK Solna in January 2024, initially playing for the U19s before stepping up to the reserve side. He made his Bundesliga debut last season, appearing briefly in a 3-0 win over Mainz. Standing at 1.96m (6ft 5in), the Swedish forward of Ghanaian descent has caught the eye with his physical presence and composure in front of goal.

  • TELL ME MORE...

Bayern have endured a quiet transfer window so far, with only three major signings – Tom Bischof, Jonathan Tah and Luis Diaz. Manager Kompany is leaning on academy talent to fill squad gaps. Kusi-Asare’s pre-season form has convinced Die Rekordmeister that the 18-year-old can contribute in a backup role while continuing his development at Allianz Arena.
