Grealish curled a low effort past Lukas Hradecky in the Finland goal to put England 1-0 up in Helsinki. The Manchester City player was sent through by Angel Gomes with a neat outside-of-the-boot pass that cut through the Finnish defence and left Grealish in acres of space. After picking out the bottom right corner, Grealish followed through on his plans for a new celebration and sucked his thumb in dedication of his newly-born daughter.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
Before the game, Grealish had revealed he had been planning on the celebration for a while but had not had the chance to do it yet. He explained: "I scored for England but in the moment just so much was going on and it being against Ireland and that I just completely forgot. So, yeah, maybe next time." Fortunately for Grealish, he did not have to wait any longer.

WHAT NEXT FOR GREALISH
Grealish will return to Manchester City after the international break and travel to bottom-of-the-table Wolves. The Englishman has been in-and-out of favour under Pep Guardiola and will be eager to show he can still play an integral part and offer up a few more celebrations.
