61' GOAL - Akgun threads a vertical pass into the run of Celik, who has slipped away from Doumbia. The Juventus full-back drills a cross into the middle and Elmali's backheel, entirely unintended, falls for Simsir and wrong-foots the whole Italy defence. At the far post, the Trabzonspor striker has the simplest of finishes to beat Donnarumma.
57' CHANCE - Maldini does brilliantly and switches play to the left for Pio Esposito. The Inter striker spots Doumbia's run into the box, and the midfielder controls before shooting right-footed with only Cakir to beat, but the goalkeeper produces a superb old-fashioned star-shaped save and keeps out the effort with his foot.
50' Di Lorenzo and Donnarumma get in each other's way and let the ball run through on the edge of the box, with Simsir quick to pounce. The Turkish forward keeps it in play and cuts inside along the byline, but Bastoni gets back just in time to turn it behind for a corner.
40' Italy switch play from right to left through Ruggeri, who takes advantage of Doumbia's run and picks up the ball on the edge of the box. He takes a touch and shoots right-footed, but the defence get a block in and send it behind for a corner.
26' GOAL - Vergara and Di Lorenzo combine on the right before the Napoli full-back swings in a cross. In the middle, Doumbia and Scamacca go up together, and the midfielder's header strikes the striker on the back. The ball stays alive and, in an instant, the Atalanta forward adjusts his body and lashes a powerful right-footed shot that clips the crossbar on its way into the net.
17' CHANCE - Akgun breaks into the Italy penalty area again and tries to loop a header over Donnarumma, but the Italian goalkeeper is well placed and claims it above his head.
16' Turkey play out brilliantly from the back again and find Khaveci between the lines. The ball then runs to Ozcan, who curls an effort towards goal, with Donnarumma doing well to gather.
14' CHANCE - Kabak lets fly from the edge of the box. Donnarumma gets down well to the powerful low diagonal effort and pushes it behind for a corner.
12' A dangerous vertical pass out from defence catches Italy badly exposed. Khaveci's first touch lets him down and the danger passes, but had he brought it under control he would have been one-on-one with Donnarumma.
11' Scamacca brings it under control, shifts the ball on to his right foot and unleashes a powerful effort from the edge of the box, but it flies off target.
0' Kick-off is at 20.45 at the Dall'Ara Stadium in Bologna.
