Goals from Alexander Isak and Dan Burn secured all three points for Newcastle against Ipswich on Saturday and ensured the Tractor Boys will be playing Championship football once again next season. A tough afternoon for Ipswich started badly when Ben Johnson was sent off in the first half, before a penalty on the stroke of half-time from Isak gave the visitors a mountain to climb. Further goals from Dan Burn and William Osula finished Ipswich off and ensured they claim the final relegation spot in the Premier League for the 2024-25 season.

A tough summer may be in the offing too, with top Premier League clubs believed to be interested in striker Liam Delap who could be set to depart the club for £30 million.
