The Czech goalkeeper joined Leverkusen in 2023, making six Bundesliga appearances under Xabi Alonso, and is set to depart the club already. As per the Mirror, Leverkusen have agreed a deal with PSV to sell Kovar who is looking to become a first-choice number one on a permanent basis. While it marks the second time Ten Hag has shifted Kovar, with Brentford's Mark Flekken arriving to become the main option between the sticks, it was inevitable Kovar would have to leave for regular game time.
United are looking to revamp their own goalkeeping options. Ten Hag's signing, Andre Onana, has proved to be an unreliable figure in-between the sticks at Old Trafford and Ruben Amorim is desperate for a new number one. The Botafogo goalkeeper John has impressed at the Club World Cup and is the latest option United are considering as the Onana replacement.

WHAT NEXT FOR TEN HAG?
Ten Hag will continue to look to improve his Leverkusen squad and put his own stamp on the club. Lukas Hradecky and Flekken provide strong options in net for the Dutchman, but replacements for Wirtz and Frimpong may prove more vital.
