Emma Hayes learns fate after shoving Arsenal boss Jonas Eidevall following Chelsea's Conti Cup disappointment

According toBBC Sport, Hayes will not face any action for pushing Eidevall after the full-time whistle in her side's 1-0 extra-time defeat in the Conti Cup final on Sunday. The pair had first shaken hands before things became heated as they exchanged words.

"I am not down for male aggression on the touchline. I told him this," Hayes said after the game, referring to Eidevall's brief altercation with Chelsea midfielder Erin Cuthbert. The Arsenal manger labelled the comments 'irresponsible' when it was put to him.

When asked about Hayes' comments, Eidevall said: "I don't see me as aggressive. She is irresponsible putting that label on it. There is a way you behave in the technical area. You need to be a good winner and a good loser. I am happy with the way I conduct myself. Others need to look at themselves in the mirror."

Following the international break, attention will go back to the club game and both sides have plenty to play for. Chelsea are still chasing a treble in Hayes' last season in charge before she takes over the USWNT, while Arsenal are looking to secure Champions League football with a third-placed WSL finish.
