The Spain international took to social media on Friday to share the exciting news, while posting a number of photos from their engagement night. The 29-year-old could not hide his joy at this life-changing moment.

A clearly thrilled Raya wrote on Instagram, alongside the engagement photos: "SHE SAID YES 💍💡."

Trouboul also said in an Instagram story: "Two days ago from the news and I still can't believe it. Thank you so much for all the messages we are receiving. Being on a cloud and seeing how the people around us cheer for us fills our heart even more."

The pair reportedly got together in 2021 before going public with their relationship a year later. The couple live together in north London but for a while, the model is said to have divided her time between Spain and the capital of England.

Raya is now preparing to start in goal for Arsenal away at Bournemouth as the Premier League returns on Saturday. The ex-Brentford stopper will hope his team can come away with the three points after his engagement news.
