    WHAT HAPPENED?

Palmer was instrumental to the Blues' 4-3 win at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Early goals from Dominic Solanke and Dejan Kulusevski saw Spurs race into a two-goal lead, only for Ange Postecoglou's side to cave in. Jadon Sancho pulled one back before half-time, before a pair of Palmer penalties and a half-volley from Enzo Fernandez saw Chelsea come from behind, with Son Heung-min scoring an added-time consolation.

    WHAT MARESCA SAID

The Italian coach said: "Cole belongs to that kind of player, they are not normal players, they are top players. And top players, they do things that normal players or us say 'how can he do that?', it's because he's Cole, because he's top. We can expect this from Cole."

When asked what he thought of Panenka's penalty, Maresca replied: "The second penalty...he's cold!"

  • DID YOU KNOW?

Palmer has scored all 12 of his Premier League penalties in Chelsea colours, which is now a record for a player without missing, surpassing Yaya Toure's Manchester City tally of 11.

  • WHAT NEXT FOR CHELSEA?
