  • WHAT HAPPENED?

Nkunku graduated from PSG's youth system and made his senior debut for the club in 2015. THE BIGGER PICTURE

Despite making a much-hyped move to the Premier League, the attacker has failed to live up to the expectations. In his maiden season at Stamford Bridge, an injury kept him out of action for the majority of the campaign and limited his appearances for Chelsea to just 14 matches. In the current season, he is fighting for a permanent place in Enzo Maresca's side and has started just once in the seven Premier League matches the club have played thus far.

  • WHAT CHRISTOPHER NKUNKU SAID

When asked if he plans to move back to Paris and rejoin his former team, Nkunku told Telefoot, "PSG remains a big club, but there has not been one approach."
