WHAT HAPPENED?
Chelsea are not willing to take any risks with Nkunku and will not rush the player back to the pitch unless Pochettino or Nkunku himself feels a hundred per cent confident about his condition, according to The Standard.
While Pochettino is yet to give the latest update on the condition of the former RB Leipzig attacker, The Standard claims that the player is in contention to make the club's matchday squad against Newcastle United on Saturday.
Ahead of the Blues' clash against Manchester City earlier this month, Pochettino had revealed his chat with the Frenchman where the latter told his manager that he was eyeing a return to the pitch after the November international break.
