The English forward is likely to exit Old Trafford in the January transfer window after he missed a fifth-consecutive Premier League clash against Liverpool on Sunday. Rashford has been linked with a move to several clubs including Serie A giants AC Milan who have already approached United over a possible transfer, according to Calciomercato. The report adds that Rossoneri legend Ibrahimovic - who now fills an executive role at San Siro - has approved the move and wants his former Red Devils team-mate in Italy.

The 27-year-old is likely to leave the club on loan, however, the deal could get complicated due to his massive £315,000-a-week wages. Tuttomercatoweb, though, reports that the Italian side have agreed to cover the player's entire salary and will present a formal offer for the English star in the next few days.

Rashford also had offers from the Saudi Pro League but the striker rejected them as he wants to continue playing in Europe to prolong his international career with the Three Lions.

After holding Premier League leaders Liverpool to a 2-2 draw at Anfield, Ruben Amorim's side will be back in action next Sunday as they take on Arsenal in a third-round FA Cup clash. Rashford's future may have become clearer by that point.
