'It's a dream come true' - Rodrygo loving life at Real Madrid after achieving milestone

Real Madrid star Rodrygo recently marked the impressive milestone of 250 appearances for the club. The Brazilian forward expressed his eagerness to stay at the Santiago Bernabeu and achieve "many more" titles with the Spanish giants. Rodrygo has developed a formidable partnership with fellow forwards Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Junior, as well as midfielder Jude Bellingham, creating a potent attacking quartet for the team.

Since joining Real Madrid in 2019, Rodrygo has made a tremendous impact, playing a key role in the club's 2022 Champions League triumph and the 2023 Copa del Rey victory. To date, he has won 13 titles with Los Blancos, securing every major trophy available.

The arrival of Kylian Mbappe in 2024 sparked speculation in the Spanish media that Real Madrid might consider letting Rodrygo go. However, Carlo Ancelotti has publicly backed the Brazilian and continues to include him in key matches. In fact, Rodrygo reportedly turned down offers from the likes of Manchester City and PSG last summer, reaffirming his commitment to the Spanish giants.

“It means a lot to me. It’s a dream that I fulfil every day playing here and I’m very excited about this milestone," Rodrygo told Real Madrid's official website (h/t AS).

"I want to achieve many more. It’s a very special milestone and I want to achieve more and more things with this shirt. I came here with the aim of winning everything and achieving all the titles, but I didn’t imagine I would win them so quickly. I didn’t imagine I would already have two Champions Leagues. I’m very happy.”

Rodrygo will be pivotal for Real Madrid's chances of lifting major silverware by the end of the season. The former Santos prodigy has 12 goals and eight assists from 33 games in all competitions. He will be expected to feature in Los Blancos' upcoming LaLiga fixture, where they play Girona, on Sunday, February 23.
