Inter Miami co-owner David Beckham could be set to expand his football club portfolio following reports linking him to a takeover bid for FC Nantes. The historic French side are currently in sporting disarray at the bottom of Ligue 2 after suffering relegation from the top flight.
Nantes’ final Ligue 1 match of the season against Toulouse was brought to a chaotic and premature end on Sunday as furious supporters stormed the pitch to protest the club's relegation. The disturbing scenes at the Stade de la Beaujoire saw flares ignited and hundreds of ultras confront security forces in a desperate display of anger.
Mason Greenwood has been branded an "absolute disgrace" by Marseille legend Christophe Dugarry following a dismal 3-0 defeat to Nantes. The former Manchester United forward is facing severe backlash for his perceived lack of effort and poor attitude on the pitch. Dugarry did not hold back, demanding the 23-year-old’s immediate exit as his honeymoon phase in France abruptly ends.
