Shakhtar Donetsk take on Fenerbahce in the Champions League. Here’s how you can secure your tickets

Alexis Mac Allister has revealed that Liverpool told him last season they had no plans to renew his contract, admitting the news was painful and unpleasant. The Argentina midfielder, whose deal runs until the summer of 2028, insists staying at Anfield is what he wants most and believes the recent changes behind the scenes mean anything can happen now.

Andoni Iraola has told Liverpool to kill Fenerbahce's confidence in Istanbul as they chase a fourth straight Champions League win. Cody Gakpo, meanwhile, joked that the Reds maybe should dive more after two big calls went against them in Sunday's defeat to Arsenal, a result that left them nine points behind the reigning champions in the Premier League.

Liverpool have been dealt a fresh injury setback ahead of their European travels after Ryan Gravenberch was ruled out of the upcoming Champions League fixture against Fenerbahce. The Dutch midfielder will not be part of the group heading to Turkiye as the Reds look to maintain their strong form on the continent.
