Cesc Fabregas has warned his Como side not to let their historic 9-1 Champions League victory over Lens go to their heads. The head coach insisted that while the record-breaking night was unforgettable, his players must quickly refocus for their upcoming Serie A clash against Inter.
Como captain Lucas Da Cunha described their 9-1 away victory against RC Lens as a "crazy result" while insisting his team-mates must remain grounded. The midfielder led by example on the pitch, scoring his side's fourth goal in a historic European night.
RC Lens defender Ruben Aguilar admitted the squad felt "shocked, saddened, and downbeat" after shipping nine goals against Como. Despite netting his side's solitary goal, the Frenchman conceded their tactical game plan was torn apart on a agonizing night at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis.
