    CHIPPA UNIITED 2-2 MARUMO GALLANTS

    A match between Chippa United and Marumo Gallants ended in a 2-2 draw at the Buffalo City Stadium on Saturday evening.

    Edgar Manaka put Bahlabane Ba Ntwa ahead by converting a penalty in the 15th minute. However, Bienvenu Eva Nga equalized for the Chilli Boys just seven minutes later, followed by his fellow former Orlando Pirates player Justice Chabalala giving the home team the lead in the 42nd minute.

    But former Pirates player Gabadinho Mhango brought the Bloemfontein-based team back on level terms in the 54th minute. 

    Gallants played the entire second half with ten players after midfielder Masindi Nemtajela received a red card just moments before the half-time interval.

    Neither team changed their position in the PSL standings, as Chippa remained in 12th place while Gallants held on to the 13th spot.

    GOLDEN ARROWS 1-1 TS GALAXY

    Golden Arrows and TS Galaxy shared the spoils after a 1-1 draw in a league match played at the Mpumalanga Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

    Midfielder Velemseni Ndwandwe opened the scoring for Abafana Bes'thende in the 17th minute, however, the home team's celebration lasted only three minutes as former Kaizer Chiefs transfer target Victor Letsoalo brought the Rockets level in the 20th minute.

    The outcome in KwaZulu-Natal saw Arrows remain sixth in the PSL standings, while the Rockets remained in 11th place.

    CAPE TOWN CITY 2-1 RICHARDS BAY

    Cape Town City came from behind to win 2-1 against struggling Richards Bay at the Athlone Stadium on Friday evening. 

    The Natal Rich Boys scored first through Orlando Pirates-linked forward Yanela Mbuthuma in just within the first eight minutes into the game. 

    However, Amadou Soukouna levelled matters for the Citizens four minutes before the half-time break. Soukouna then netted the winning goal for Muhsin Ertugral’s side as he completed his brace in the 59th minute. 

    The result in the Mother City saw the Citizens move up to fifth place in the PSL standings while the KwaZulu-Natal side remained in position 14.

    SUPERSPORT UNITED 0-1 POLOKWANE CITY

    Polokwane City continued with their great start to the 2024/25 season as they narrowly beat SuperSport United 1-0 at Lucas Moripe Stadium on Friday evening.

    Kaizer Chiefs target Oswin Appollis scored the only goal of the game as the Limpopo-based outfit moved back up to third place in the PSL table.

    Matsatsantsa remained outside the top eight as they occupy the 10th spot in the standings.
