    WHAT HAPPENED?

Kaizer Chiefs' problems are persisting this season as they are stuck in position eight on the Premier Soccer League table for a number of weeks now.

Saturday's 1-1 draw with TS Galaxy was Amakhosi's fourth successive league match without a win.

Having recently blamed injuries to key players for their difficult run, Nabi has now said they lack luck.

    WHAT NABI SAID

“We think the players did everything they could to get the good results,” said Nabi as per FARPost

“I feel we are going through a moment of bad luck because of the lack of results. But we’re going to hang in there, everyone has to push more and work hard.”

“And we are pretty sure that the luck will come back and we will see where we finish at the end of the season.”

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

To highlight how Amakhosi are going through a rough patch in the PSL this season, they have recorded more defeats than victories.

The Soweto giants have won eight league matches, drew six times and lost 10 games while scoring 24 goals in as many outings and have conceded on 29 occasions.

They were also eliminated from the Carling Knockout at the quarter-final stage by Mamelodi Sundowns in emphatic fashion.
