Orlando Pirates will look to pick themselves up from last weekend's setback when they visit Marumo Gallants at Dr Petrus Molemela Stadium.

Fresh from the 1-0 home upset by Sekhukhune United last Saturday, the Buccaneers are in the City of Roses to face Bahlabane ba Ntwa, who started the season on a winning note.

    Bahlabane ba Ntwa will be without their captain Edgar Manaka, who was red-carded in the 39th minute in their first game of the season against Richards Bay.

    Their coach, Alexandre Lafitte, appears to have settled well and adjusted working with a squad which has a mass clearance of 13 players, including the likes of Daniel Akpeyi, Frank Mhango, Vusi Sibiya and Dino Ndlovu.

    No Pirates player is suspended for this match, but coach Ouaddou could be forced to make major changes to rectify where they went wrong against Babina Noko.

    It is to be seen if the Moroccan will still stick with Boitumelo Radiopane upfront or replace him with Tshegofatso Mabasa.

    What makes Gallants a real threat to Pirates is the manner in which they won their season opener away at Richards Bay last weekend.

    They played the better part of the match with a man down after Manaka's dismissal and dramatically grabbed their winner in stoppage time for a 2-1 victory. 

    The team from the City of Roses face Pirates who were not convincing against Sekhukhune, but the Buccaneers could be determined like a wounded lion.
