Amakhosi controlled the tempo and dominated possession in Luanda but couldn’t convert their chances, falling 1-0 to a resilient ten-man Kabuscorp in the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round first leg. Chiefs now face a must-win return leg at FNB Stadium.

The Glamour Boys started brightly in Luanda, controlling possession and creating early chances, with Glody Lilepo missing a clear one-on-one opportunity. Despite their dominance, Amakhosi couldn’t find the breakthrough as the match went into halftime at 0-0.

Kabuscorp grew into the game after the break and found the winner through substitute Julio Matondo’s header. Even after being reduced to ten men late on, the Angolan side held firm to seal a gritty 1-0 victory.
