    Venue change

The game was initially scheduled to take place at Chatsworth Stadium, but the venue has been changed, as per the club's confirmation on Monday.

  • Where will Durban City host Chiefs?

The PSL debutants will now host the Soweto giants at Moses Mabhida Stadium. This is expected to be an interesting game, as Durban City will hope to beat Chiefs and widen the gap between them.

Amakhosi, on the other hand, are keen to avoid a defeat in order to close in on their rivals who are ahead.

Interestingly, Chiefs, fourth, and Durban City, fifth, have equal points - 15 - but the top-flight debutants are below because of an inferior goal difference.

    What awaits Chiefs ahead?

However, before Chiefs face Durban City, they will have to face Siwelele FC on October 22.

The Glamour Boys are shifting their focus to domestic duties after their 0-0 draw against Simba of DR Congo in the CAF Confederation second preliminary round encounter.

The return leg is scheduled to take place on October 25.

    Injury concerns

As Chiefs face a rather congested fixture calendar, they have to contend with a number of injuries. The Naturena-based outfit has two league games in hand and could soon have Lebohang Maboe, Etiosa Ighodaro, and Nkanyiso Shinga available.

The new signings are edging close to full fitness, something that will be good news for the technical bench, as they need a deep squad available as the season progresses.

However, George Matlou, Ethan Chislett, Paseka Mako, Bontle Molefe, Given Msimango, and Rushwin Dortley remain sidelined.
