Another One! Kaizer Chiefs announce exciting new addition as the club continues to bolster their squad

Tuesday proved to be a whirlwind day for wonderkid Luke Baartman. After winning his case against former club Cape Town Spurs and being declared a free agent, he was spotted at Cape Town International Airport en route to Johannesburg. 

By the end of the day, the promising forward was officially unveiled as Kaizer Chiefs’ latest signing.  

The 19-year-old talent now reunites with his former Cape Town Spurs captain, Asanele Velebayi, who was unveiled by Chiefs just a week ago. 

Both players will be eager to make their presence felt as they embrace the challenge of donning the famous Black and Gold.

Also, Amakhosi unveiled the signing of Etiosa Ighodaro, after securing his clearance from Mamelodi Sundowns.    

With back-to-back Premier Soccer League wins, Chiefs are riding a wave of momentum and the arrival of new signings gives the technical team added depth. 

Following their midweek clash against Richards Bay on Tuesday, 19 August, Amakhosi will gear up for a blockbuster showdown with Mamelodi Sundowns on Wednesday, 27 August.
