Orlando Pirates v Kaizer Chiefs starting line-ups revealed

The 164th Soweto Derby promises to be an exciting affair as Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates have confirmed their respective starting line-ups.

Kaizer Chiefs are winless in their last six Soweto Derbies, and coach Giovanni Solinas will hope to change his side’s fortunes arounds as he experiences his first taste of Soweto Derby action.

Chiefs are currently in third place on the Premier Soccer League (PSL) table and will hope to overtake their arch rivals with victory.

Meanwhile, Amakhosi have been handed a major boost as Leonardo Castro has been deemed fit to start alongside Khama Billiat, who also makes his Derby debut.

On the side of the Buccaneers, Milutin Sredojevic has continuously talked up the importance of the game and he will be eager to see a repeat of last season’s 3-1 victory over Chiefs.

‘Micho’ has made one surprise inclusion as he has roped in Marshall Munetsi. The 22-year-old has featured just twice in the league this season but will hope that he can use the game to cement his place in the side.
