Orlando Pirates' Rulani Mokwena is happy to continue serving the Soweto giants as an assistant coach.
The highly-rated tactician was asked whether he feels ready to take charge of a PSL club as head coach with the Free State Stars coaching job currently vacant.
"It is difficult because I always say to myself I wish I had a direct line to the man above to ask him when will I be a head coach and at which club will my first opportunity be presented to me," Mokwena told Marawa Sport Worldwide.
Mokwena, who joined the Bucs technical team from Mamelodi Sundowns last year, has been praised for helping transform the team into serious PSL title contenders.
"Then I say to myself, 'But coach lets be honest if I had a direct line to God would that really be the first question you ask him'," he continued.
"So, it is not something that I think about because my priority now is to be the best assistant coach I can possibly be, and be as diligent and hardworking I can possibly be. To serve Pirates and its people to the best of my capacity," he added.

"That is my focus at this moment in time and what the future holds nobody knows because just like David. He got chosen as king after 35 years," he explained.
Mokwena and Pirates head coach Milutin 'Micho' Sredojevic have been tasked with delivering the club's first PSL title since 2012.
"I believe my chance is still yet to come, but I am happy at Orlando Pirates with the position I hold there. I promised myself that I will keep on learning," he said.
“We have been entrusted with a big project which I am still happy to embark on. It would not make sense to leave the project that the chairman (Dr Irvin Khoza) has entrusted upon us," he concluded.
