EXTRA TIME: Watch Eric Tinkler and Pitso Mosimane on Maritzburg and Sundowns form

Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane has been in the limelight for the wrong reasons lately.

Foreign fans questioned his behaviour on television after Sundowns beat WAC Casablanca in the Caf Champions League. Mosimane was upset that Moroccan players got away with dirty tactics away in Africa.

Then former player Toni Silva had a go at Mosimane for not giving him a proper chance at the club.

Otherwise, Mosimane is not looking troubled. In fact, he has much to sing about, after the Brazilians' brilliant 3-1 victory against Asec Mimosas and all those fans who questioned his credentials on Twitter are now eating humble pie.

There have been two great results for Sundowns and they're now in a good position to progress to the quarter-finals.

Meanwhile, Sundowns are also in contention for the PSL title, but at the other end of the PSL table, there's Maritzburg United and their new coach Eric Tinkler who has the daunting task of saving them.

United lost 1-0 to PSL title hopefuls Bidvest Wits on February 1. Then on Friday, they take on Polokwane City. Tinkler talks about this fixture and why he is hopeful that Maritzburg can stay in the PSL.
