Aston Villa have struck a final agreement to sign one of Germany's internationals in the summer transfer window, according to a press report.
German journalist Florian Plettenberg, of "Sky", said on Sunday that all parties have reached a full agreement over the transfer of former Bayern Munich star Leon Goretzka to the Villans.
The medical is expected to be wrapped up soon, with Goretzka set to sign a deal running between two and three years.

Villa's Spanish manager Unai Emery played a decisive role in convincing Goretzka to make the move, picking up the phone to explain the club's project and win the player over.
It all comes after Villa ramped up their efforts over the past 72 hours, with Emery keen to bolster his midfield, especially after the collapse of the João Palhinha deal.
Goretzka ended his Bayern Munich spell this summer after eight seasons with the German giants. He racked up 312 appearances and lifted seven Bundesliga titles, adding the 2020 Champions League and a host of other domestic and continental honours.
