    WHAT HAPPENED?

Dzenan Zajmovic left TS Galaxy after spending just a season at the Mbombela-based club.

It was a fruitful season for the 30-year-old, who scored 11 goals in 29 games across all competitions

That saw him being linked with a move to Kaizer Chiefs, and TS Galaxy chairman Tim Sukazi explains what complicated the Bosnian/Belgian's stay in the Premier Soccer League.

    WHAT SUKAZI SAID

"TS Galaxy also thrives on a spirit of humanity. Zajmovic had an issue where his family could not be issued with visitors’ visas and he's a family man," Sukazi said on Metro FM Sports as per Soccer Laduma.
"He said 'Chairman, I can't stay without my family, if I don't have my family here, then I won't be able to perform'. We understood that. When he left, they had overstayed for a day or two, they had to be held up at the airport, that also traumatized him, so we understood that," he added.
"Yes, he was under contract. We do these things [terminate by mutual consent], you won't understand. We also look at the human element, otherwise should we suppress their careers because we can?"

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

For now, Chiefs might not be beating themselves for failing to sign Zajmovic who is now playing for Iranian side Zob Ahan.

This is after Coach Nasreddine Nabi managed to sign other forwards, including Flavio Silva, Etiosa Ighodaro, and Khanyisa Mayo.
