    WHAT NABI SAID

“He’s out maybe six, seven days,” Nabi said as per iDiski Times.

“I would say that it hurts us a lot because he’s a striker that can give you a lot of things.

“He’s a good presser. He doesn’t give a lot of rest to the defenders. But after, when he came out, we saw that even the centre-backs were a little bit comfortable with the ball all the time.

“He’s as well in a nine classic that can give you, when you need you can play on him, he’s going to hold the ball, he’s going to give your team the time to go up to take positions to attack," added the former Young Africans coach.

“And as well, he’s a player that, when you make all those crosses that were coming inside the box, he is someone who can finish it and who has a big presence, and it impacted a lot the plan of the game today [Saturday].”

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

In the absence of Morris, Nabi's options upfront include Glody Lilepo, Ranga Chivaviro and Du Preez.

That gives those available forwards opportunities to turn themselves into prolific scorers and cement their places in the team when given the chance to play.

This comes as Morris has managed to score just one goal in five appearances in the PSL and Nedbank Cup for Amakhosi.

    WHAT NEXT FOR CHIEFS?

According to Nabi's remarks, that means Morris will not be available when Chiefs host Magesi FC in a PSL match at FNB Stadium on Tuesday.

But the forward could be back when the Soweto giants visit Stellenbosch for Saturday's Nedbank Cup quarter-finals.
