THE BIGGER PICTURE
Mbule had been strongly linked with a move to Kaizer Chiefs.
But it is Amakhosi's arch-rivals Pirates who won his signature and his acquisition was announced just after Pirates appointed Abdeslam Ouaddou as their new coach.
The Moroccan trainer has been an admirer of Mbule and could be the one behind signing the former SuperSport United star.
