    WHAT HAPPENED?

Earlier this week, FARPost reported that Sipho Mbule was "in hot water at Sekhukhune United."

The midfielder is on loan at Babina Noko from Mamelodi Sundowns and is alleged to have disrespected authority and broken club protocols.

Sekhukhune coach Lehlohonolo Seema has now commented on the issue.

    WHAT SEEMA SAID

“Colleagues, please I’m not going to say anything about the issue of our player Sipho Mbule," Seema said as per iDiski Times.

"Any questions about Sipho Mbule I wouldn’t be in a position to answer it at the moment and he was not going to be available anyway for this fixture.

“So let us not bring his name. What can only say is we await the proper official statement from the club once all is settled," added the former Pirates defender.

“I know we all like him, we all like to know, but for now I think I’ve answered all of you.”

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

According to FARPost, Sekhukhune are contemplating terminating their loan contract with Mbule.

This is not the first time Mbule has had brushes with club authorities after he was alleged to have arrived at training while under the influence of alcohol at Sundowns.

It is to be seen if Mbule will be sent back to Sundowns by Sekhukhune when they decide his fate.

    WHAT NEXT FOR MBULE?

Sekhukhune visit Sundowns for Saturday's Nedbank Cup quarter-final clash at the Lucas Moripe Stadium.

Besides the alleged disciplinary issues, Mbule was already ruled out of this match as Masandawana do not play against their loanees.

That gives the club a few days respite to try sort out any issues with the player before they face the media again ahead of their PSL clash away to Marumo Gallants on Wednesday, March 12.
