Relebohile Mofokeng is regarded as one of the best players to have come out of the Orlando Pirates Academy.

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Last season, he scored five goals and provided six assists in the 38 matches played across all competitions.

In the ongoing edition, he has 10 goals and 13 assists from the 41 matches played.

However, his mentor at the School of Excellence, Masimanyane Xali, believes Mofokeng is not doing more in terms of scoring goals.

    WHAT XALI SAID

“The one thing I feel is still missing from Rele is goals,” he said in his recent interview with iDiski Times.

“He is not scoring enough for Pirates. When he was at the School [of Excellence], the boy scored many goals. In his matric year, he scored 39 goals in about 34 matches. I’d like to see him scoring more at Pirates," Xali concluded.
