RC Genk target Tylon Smith scored the all-important goal from Neo Rapoo's cross following a mistake by the Flying Eagles goalkeeper Ajiia Yakub.

This is the second time that South Africa have reached the final of the continental tournament, having reached this stage in 1997.
Coach Raymond Mdaka's side are now pushing to win this tournament for the first time in their history.
Both South Africa and Nigeria have qualified for the 2025 Fifa U20 World Cup finals to be hosted by Chile.
