The Brazilians and Team of Choice were paired in the Last-16 of the <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-za/premier-soccer-league/yv73ms6v1995b5wny16jcfi3" target="_blank">Premier Soccer League's</a> most prestigious competition.They clash at Lucas Moripe Stadium on Sunday with National First Division side Maritzburg going into the match regarded as inferior opponents to Masandawana.But Dladla feels this is the kind of stage fit for his charges to showcase their talent.

WHAT HAPPENED?

“I must say it's a terrible draw for us, looking at where we are and where Sundowns are, looking at everything that they have, the quality that is there,” Dladla said as per <a href="https://www.iol.co.za/sport/soccer/psl/maritzburg-united-relishing-opportunity-to-play-against-africas-best-mamelodi-sundowns-c3d9ac68-edd9-48c1-94e9-787018c2d4cc" target="_blank">IOL.</a>“But I believe that we have talent and this year we have turned the corner in terms of our performances. I've already benefited from the draw because everyone wants to play this type of game.“I've coached players at Sundowns, who were once nobodies. They came from where I was to Sundowns, so for me, it's all about the stage - we're given the platform to be able to dance with them, so I think that is motivation on its own.”

WHAT DLADLA SAID

The Team of Choice is struggling to push for the NFD title and earn a ticket back to the Premier Soccer League.They are 10th on the table and the Nedbank Cup provides an opportunity to make up for their struggles in the league.But Sundowns are a major stumbling block in their bid to become another NFD side to win the Nedbank Cup in the same manner TS Galaxy did in 2019.

Dladla continues to prepare his men for Sunday's battle hoping a five-match unbeaten streak across all competitions will inspire them.They come up against Masandawana who dropped points in the league against SuperSport United on Tuesday.
