THE BIGGER PICTURE
Gonzalez's stint at Chiefs is a grim reminder of how Amakhosi have been struggling to sign prolific goal-scorers.
The Colombian did not score a single goal in the 13 games he featured for Chiefs across all competitions.
However, after returning to Bolivia, he appeared to have picked himself up with six goals in 19 league appearances for Real Santa Cruz last season.
