    WHAT HAPPENED?

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

The winger has since struggled to deliver for the Jose Riveiro-led outfit since setting his feet in South Africa.

In the seven months he was at the club, Gilberto played just 12 competitive games - most from the bench, scored no goal nor made an assist.

The Soweto giants confirmed the 23-year-old has been sent to his former team Petro de Luanda on loan for the remainder of the season.

Gilberto has since explained why he found it hard to deliver at Bucs.

  • WHAT GILBERTO SAID

“It was very difficult for me to adapt and adjust to the team. I wanted to play more to show my level," Gilberto told the media.

“I promise to work hard here at Petro so that we can win titles together."
