Done Deal: Molde FK confirm the signing of defender Samukele Kabini from TS Galaxy

Recently, TS Galaxy owner Tim Sukazi confirmed that Orlando Pirates product Samukelo Kabini had attracted Norwegian heavyweights Molde FK who had reportedly paid R15 million for his services.

The 21-year-old played 19 league games, with a return of three goals and an assist, to help the Rockets go fourth on the Premier Soccer League table.

The Norwegian team have now confirmed the signing of Kabini until 2028.

"Samukele Kabini (21) has signed a contract with Molde FK that extends until 2028. The left-footed defender comes from TS Galaxy FC in South Africa's top division," they confirmed on their website.

"I am very happy to be here in Molde. It has been an exciting few days, and I am looking forward to getting started," he said as quoted by Molde FK media team.

"I have heard a lot of good things about the club and have seen how Molde performs both in Norway and in Europe. It seems like a fantastic place to develop as a player.

 "I like to play with intensity and use my physicality in the duel game. I have played both as a left-back and a centre-back, and I always give everything to the team," Kabini concluded.

Kabini has already passed the team's medical tests and is expected to join his new teammates to prepare for the forthcoming matches.

The defender has to continue giving his best to make the Bafana Bafana 2025 Afcon squad and even attract bigger teams.
