The opening half between AS Simba and Kaizer Chiefs was a showcase of evenly matched intensity, with both sides displaying sharp passing and disciplined structure from the first whistle. The game flowed with energy but little breakthrough, as each team fought to control possession while their defences stood firm, denying any real chances on goal.

Despite the high tempo and flashes of creativity, neither side could find the edge, and while both teams gave their all, the scoreboard stayed untouched as they headed into the halftime break deadlocked at 0-0.

In the second half, the hosts pushed forward in search of a breakthrough, looking to tilt the contest in their favour. But Chiefs held their ground, finding space in attack and matching the intensity.

Both sides had their moments, yet neither could convert, as the match ended in a hard-fought 0-0 draw.
