Woltemade enjoyed a breakout season with Stuttgart, playing a key role in their DFB-Pokal triumph and helping the club secure a top-four Bundesliga finish. He also impressed on the international stage, starring at the European Under 21 Championship and earning his senior Germany debut. With Bayern urgently needing to reinforce their attack following after Musiala’s long-term injury, they see Woltemade as the ideal creative link behind Harry Kane.
However, Stuttgart are in no rush to sell, remaining firm in their stance and signalling they are prepared to keep the 23-year-old until his contract expires in 2028 unless an irresistible offer arrives. That position has been repeatedly reinforced by chairman Alexander Wehrle, who declined to confirm or deny the latest bid but maintained a consistent message.
He said: "We are not negotiating with Bayern Munich. I made my position very clear five weeks ago, and nothing has changed, Nick Woltemade will play football for us next year."
