<p>The Hollywood superstar is, as part of the Tylis-Porter investment group, seeing a <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/ryan-reynolds-eva-longoria-20m-wrexham-co-owner-another-takeover-project-colombian-club/blt43391522aa828f9d" target="_blank">£12 million ($15m) deal for Colombian outfit La Equidad</a> speculated on. An agreement is said to be close, with the relevant paperwork needing to be signed off, as Reynolds and Co expand their business empire.</p>

<p>Actress Eva Longoria, ex-Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil and baseball star Justin Verlander also form part of the Tylis-Porter family. They are said to have big plans for Equidad, having <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/wrexham-ryan-reynolds-rob-mcelhenney-buy-minority-necaxa-eva-longoria/bltc24b1268e613631a" target="_blank">already invested in Mexican side Necaxa</a>. Reynolds, meanwhile, forms part of another consortium that <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/wrexham-ryan-reynolds-rob-mcelhenney-171m-deal-alpine-preposterous-f1-legend/blt32c7f3c047d9a969" target="_blank">own a stake in the Alpine Formula 1 team</a>.</p>

<p>His latest venture promises to be a testing one, with Bogota-based Equidad battling with Club Deportivo Los Millonarios and Independiente Santa Fe for favour in a city of 7.9 million inhabitants. With that in mind, it is claimed that Reynolds and Co will look to tinker with the club’s name before moving them elsewhere.</p>
